Last day of my cruise, decided to start off right:

Maker's Mark and Guinness Foreign Extra
    [IMG]

Best bourbon and beer available on the cruise ship, $3.00 each. Not too shabby.

    Cheers!

Good Morning BA! And cheers =) Today I have the distinct pleasure of trying a truly local beer. Ithaca's own BandWagon Brewpub's High Step Weizenbock. It's darn good too.

My how things have changed. The last time I was in your neck of the woods the best beer available was Dundee Honey Brown- I'm sure that weizenbock is a touch better. That looks like a great way to start the day. Cheers!

No beer, yet. Coffee w/ cream so far. All this talk of Pils has me thinkin' of sumthing likewise. Hell, I'll probably wind up with some Torpedo or a decent Irish Red today. Won't know till I get to the sto. Dam I played the hell outta the Stones last night, in honor of Michael Philip Jagger's 70th B-day.

Yep. JR is amazing. My opener has thin parts that are too delicate to be believed of steel. Particularly the very tail end and the part that is the "head" or that goes under the bottle cap. The goddamn thing looks it like it moves. It resembles a snake, a key and a man. It fits my hand like fingerprints on both hands depending on which side is topside. Has the spirit of metal in it or something that an Indian would say. It smells like red fire and leather and I LOVE it.

    =)
