I currently have three bottles that I am sitting on and it would take a monster offer to get me to give a single bottle, let alone multiple bottles like that ISO listed above. It is not so much the fact that it will never be made again (as I am sure it will), but the fact that Le Bleu and Brute were Chiefs shining moments at Ithaca and have not been duplicated since he has left, two plus years ago. To me personally, I would rather have the satisfaction of cracking one open each year at my xmas party then trade them away....so in a long winded way, they are priceless.

I've had 3...2 from a buddy who got a case from the last release, and one came in a BIF. One went to a friend, drank the second, and immediately decided that I would not be trading third. Saved it for thanksgiving dinner last year. If I had more, I would continue to save them for special occasions instead of putting them on the block. Would feel bad about asking what it would take for me to let a bottle go. I'd venture to say the people have drank/are planning on drinking many of them.

Brute, Lebleu and Flower Power were Chiefs shinning moments. Personally, I dont think Flower Power, is a shell of its former self since the Chief left. It was once amazing, and the evolution of and batch variance were in of themselves fantastic. It is now just an above average IPA, or DIPA, or whatever the hell IPA variant that is now. I still have a bunch of Brute left and I will keep a bottle or two for special occasions--I also want to trade some away for some of the beers that I and my tasting group really want to try. I traded my last Lebleu away to Lost Gringo recently and he more than hooked me-up; in fact I feel slightly awry for the bottle I received in return. I had some conversations regarding the Brute and I was laughed at which made me ask about its value.

    Thanks for the input guys

Not sure what they're going for, but at an informal bottle share MarkItihar showed up with a 4-year vert. of Brute.

    Would bang again.

I traded 2X King Henry for 2X Brute a year or so ago. Sent one of the Brutes to a regular trading partner in a random box, and opened the other one. I'd love to track down another bottle or two, but no idea what it's going for now.

It is drinking amazingly well right now. And the LeBleu I had a couple of weeks ago had soured beautifully. Both drinking as well as any sour I've had from the states.

Problem is that not a lot of people want to let theirs go. Mine are definitely for drinking not trading. Actually never traded any of the ones I've had. Best american wild, imho. But yeah, good luck and godspeed =D
Once chief left and people knew it wasn't going to be brewed again, the trade value skyrocketed. Used to be srmi-easy to get as long as you had a non-local limited release (ie Darkness used to be able to get it done)

I got a Brute, a B2 and B3 Consecration 750ml, and some CS beers for a M&C2 and CD6. Felt like it was a very kind offer, so I threw in generous extras, but that's my two cents.
