IPA Day! Any plans?

For anyone in the New Haven area, Prime 16 will be having 20 IPAs on tap. More details to come, but I will likely be in attendance.

 

Everyday is IPA Day to me.

 

Just so happens I planned to go to Cleveland to see the Tribe play a couple months back with me and a few buddies. Also just so happens we're planning on making the walk over to Great Lakes for more than a few IPAs. Lake Erie Monster all night!

 

There are 5 breweries within 30 miles of me. I'm gettin' a fresh IPA from somewhere!

 

I just picked up a couple of fresh six packs of Sculpin. Still have a bottle or RuinTen, and some Jack's Abby 2nd Anniversary. So I got a few options.

 

Well, whether you embrace this event or not, I'm taking advantage of the lineup at one of my favorite pubs in South Bend which will have NBB French Aramis, Torpedo, Rogue Brutal, Head Hunter, Stone, Summit Sage, Grapefruit Jungle, Green Bush Anger, Two Hearted, Green Flash Imperial, 3F Arctic Panzer Wolf, Founder's All Day, and casks of New Holland Imperial Hatter, Bell's Two Hearted, and Bare Hands 574. That's a lineup worth taking in. And like LeeMarvin, since #IPAday falls on Jerry's birthday today, I'm heading to see Sunshine Daydream after some IPAs.

 

I don't need a holiday to drink IPAs. But Commodore Perry with lemons is on cask at my watering hole.

 

I've got a sixer of Full Pint "Hobnobber" session IPA. I'm sure there's going to be a grill and a Ribeye involved as well.

 

I don't have anything in the fridge right now to drink when I get off (10pm-6am) and I work tonight, so no August 1st IPA day for me, I will celebrate on the 2nd. And the 3rd.

And throughout the week while on vacation as well.

Just found out a local beer store has a sale on IPAs because of IPA Day. That will be my first stop after work. Wife is a big fan of PtE and one of the bars is serving it along with potentially tapping Bell's BA Batch 9000 today (not IPA, but...), so we'll be there. When we get home, we'll share a can of Heady Topper. Other than that, nothing special

Welp, with IPA Day actually upon us...I have some Heady Topper! So bully for me, I shall be drinking that after work

 

Enjoying a bomber of Apocalypse Cow sounds just about right.

 

As fate has it, I am vacationing w/the family just south of the original Dogfish Head in Rehoboth Beach, DE and today's the day we planned to go there ... Anyone know if they have any IPAs?

 

Homebrewed Cascade IPA, the keg may even kick tonight.

aaaand... Doom. Cause I gotta drink it at some point.

Unfortunately I will be working most of the day. At the end of the day I will probably close out with a Hopdevil from Victory and a Lake Erie Monster from Great Lakes. I really should have saved some Ruinten for this evening but hindsight's 20/20, and that stuff is way too epic to put off for any length of time.
