Did they say this will be the bottled version? I was hoping for coconut, but this could be just as awesome.

Yes, St. Patty's Day. I was being somewhat facetious about Stoutfest. My thought is that this is likely a small batch, festival-only vurrient. Given the time frame, maybe for FOBAB?

 

Could also be some phase of testing. Weren't the results of some test batches for Bramble and Cherry brought to to festivals, tap takeovers, and DLD? I know at least "Cherry BCS" was on at DLD 2012.

 

I'm moderately shocked -- and I mean this with some amount of sincerity -- that they haven't made a Gooseberry version yet.

But having said that, I hope this is a festival-only version. After Bramble and Cherry Rye, I would love to see a non-fruited version. I know they don't like to repeat themselves, but it's not like they ever bottled the Oaxacan or ancho chile versions.
