Can anyone tell me what 3 Floyds has To Go right now?

    Just kidding.

Any news on The Oracle this year? Seems like every year there are some issues related to it. I don't believe bottles were available outside of Michigan last year, despite being available in previous years. Anyone happen to know if they up'd production for it? This is something I look forward to quite a bit.. It means the end of summer is near, college football is quickly approaching and the kids are back in school. Great beer!

I haven't been following the status of it this year, but I can say there was a good amount of it last year in Ohio.. there was actually more of it last year in my area than ever before..

Oracle makes me laugh. One year, I struggle to find a couple bottles. Next year, it's sitting on shelves. No idea which scenario is going to happen this year, but that's always part of the fun -- the hunt...

All I know is that it's one of my favorite Bell's beers. Freaking delicious, way better than the 'Slam.

It was delicious. I don't know about "Way" better than Slam, but I do think it beats it out. I so hope to find this again!

Oracle usually drops late August/early September, so we have a little while before we see it yet.

I will wholeheartedly agree with Marc, way better than Hopslam. Can't wait to pick up a case.

When fresh, I will agree, Oracle is far superior. However, I feel, in my experience with both beers, that Oracle falls off the cliff far quicker than Hopslam. After a couple weeks, Oracle has transformed into a shell of it's previous self, where Hopslam is still hoppy and drinkable.

But when it's fresh, it's no comparison. Oracle is the second best beer I've had from Bell's, only behind Black Note.

Agreed. However, if you still have Oracle for weeks after it's released, you either bought too much, or you're doing it wrong. Or you're not an alcoholic. Take your pick.

No word that it won't show up in bottles. The construction was a big part of the decision to go keg only, with the new facility up and running I would suspect it is back to business as usual.

Keg only, from what I've heard.

    Man I love your avatar!!!

That's what they said last year too, and bottles still hit. Stoked for it.

I've never understood why this hits Madison, WI and not Milwaukee. Have been wanting to try for years. ISO (PRE)!

Just got the August newsletter from Bells saying Octoberfest would be draft only again. On the plus side, Oracle is due out in August and Wheat Love is being bottled again.

    Wheat Love!

I have been asking for that to be rebrewed for years! I am glad all my begging and pleading has paid off.

Bells has a different distributor in Madison than here in MKE. My understanding is that The Oracle is allocated to Distributors based on other sales. Clearly Beer Capitol is not doing Bell's justice if we aren't seeing The Oracle. (I've also had Beechwood employees tell me as much, but as we all know, it's not that easy for a brewery to switch distributors.)
