I've only had a few, but I just had a Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin Ale that really impressed me. Easily the best I've had of the style. Any recommendations? I would actually pretty surprised if I could find one I liked more than the Weyer.

Let the pumpkin threads begin!! There are few beers or topics more polarizing. I'm predicting no less than 15 very similar threads in coming weeks.

One of my favorite styles, my personal favorites are Pumking, Punkin, Smuttynose pumpkin, shipyard smashed pumpkin, Cisco pumple drumkin, and most of all fisherman's pumpkin stout.

    Last pumpkinhead.

It is a toss up between Pumking and Pumpkineater

I haven't had some of the ones that have been posted but I like ST Pumpking, Dogfish Head, Schlafly, and Rogue. That pumpkin stout sounds awesome.

I have a bottle or two of DH Punkin, and maybe one or two from other breweries and I'm good for the season. Just not my thing I guess. And then Impy Stout season starts and I'm happy.

I don't like pumpkin beers, but if I had to choose I suppose I'd at least prefer the ones that are actually brewed with pumpkin and not just tossed together with some nutmeg and called "pumpkin."

    3. Fresh Pumpking
    4. Weyerbacher Pumpking

Got the Alewerks as an extra and it was far and away the best pumpkin I've had.

I'm open to drinking and trying any pumpkin beer but my favorite is Pumpkin and I really enjoyed Sam Adams Fat Jack last year. Does anyone know if they are releasing it again this year?

I really want to get my hands on some Good Gourd.
