If my Rangers can't win it all, I wouldn't mind seeing Scherzer get to about 24-25 for the entire year in the final game of the Series ... that team is worth tipping my Hoptimum-filled tulip to (from my favorite spot at the table)

I actually prefer to drink at home in my room while watching tv, and playing video games (360, pc). I love it because it's definitely cheaper than going to the bar, and I don't have to wait 10 minutes to use the restroom

At home, near Detroit, one of the better places for beer was my usual spot (Oak Cafe in Wyandotte). Rotating draft selection of 30-40 beers and 200+ bottles. A lot of mediocre options but also good ones, always a few from Founders, Bells, some Kuhnhenn, DFH, Great Lakes, etc. Also they started a thing where every couple of weeks they would buy a few kegs from lesser-known Michigan breweries, and it was a good way to try new things.

Where my gf lives now, in Baton Rouge, the Cove is definitely the spot. Best beer selection I've seen in the States, and one of the top three I've ever seen. Around 100 taps of pretty rare/exclusive stuff, their bottle menu was practically a novel. Only downside was dealing with cigarette smoke, forgot how awesome it was not having to deal with that in public places. Was able to get Cantillon Saint Lamvinus ($50 but worth it to try it. One of the bartenders also spilled my bottle when it was only about half empty, so I actually got over a bottle and a half).

Where I live now, in Atlanta, I haven't yet found a spot. Been advised of a few places to go but haven't yet settled; I expect to test the waters a bit throughout the month if time permits.

Was able to see the game thanks to it being on WGN. Crazy how well we have done lately without Miggy, and yet in the last 10 games we haven't even gained half a game on Cleveland or KC. Good to see some teams in our division doing well, but surely Cleveland can't keep this up? We picked a good time to get hot, at least. Four teams 9 for their last 10 games, three from same division - when was the last time that happened in the MLB?

Either at home on my la-z-boy after work (usually in the mornings since I work 3rd shift), on the porch if it's not opressively hot (so not lately) or out at the Draught House or Craft Pride here in Austin, TX with friends on my nights off.

If it's with other work buddies and we've had a particularly horrible night... it's usually at 7am at the Spider House, since they have Happy Hour from 7am till 7pm (lol) and about 15-20 craft taps (as well as a full bar for those who want mixed drinks). Interesting people at bars at 7am, btw.

Most of the time, it's exactly where I am right now. Ass parked in the recliner with the Mrs. nearby. If it's out and about, the spot is the Gerst Haus: a German joint with great food, 49 taps and the best bartender in town.

At my watering hole, Racers, watching the O's game, or on my couch watching the O's game, as long as none of my roommates are home. They don't give a shit about sports, especially baseball.

If I want to relax and chill, probably at home on the couch or my desk where I can listen to music, play Oblivion, Team Fortress 2, or read. If I want to go out, probably wherever my friends are at, and since they usually enjoy craft beer, I usually don't have issues with their preferred spot. If I were to choose outing spots, either Donnelly's in Fairport NY, or the **** & Bull in Sarasota FL.

"ringing the bell" seems to mean different things in different places. Around here, you ring the bell, you buy the bar a round.
