Ya, that's correct. Thanks for the clarification, Sage
It wasn't that they couldn't afford it but logistical issues. Which is too bad because I heard the original is awesome.

Was supposed to have it on tap for IPA day at Avenue Pub last Thursday but the Stone truck is delayed. Lameness :slight_frown:

Kind of a disappointment for me. It was a good IPA, but, I couldn't really taste or smell any coconut. I wasn't expecting huge coconut taste, but I would've liked some.

Can you photoshop out the word "Coconut"?

I agree...had on bottle taste like an IPA period. No coconut at all....personally was hoping for something special. 3 out of 5.

Just had some. I definitely tasted coconut, just not a whole lot. Had to find the right taste buds. Also became more pronounced as the beer warmed. Worth trying but not worth buying again, IMO.

I agree that the coconut is very subtle. With that said the first bottle I had was pretty low on coconut flavor but the second definitely came through a bit more. This easily could have been a change in my palate from day to day, but take it for what it's worth.

Sad to read this thread, but I still hope I manage to locate one.

The first homebrew batch from Ryan was pretty darn good but I thought it could use more coconut. The second homebrew batch floored me. So much coconut and maltyness. It was so delicious. I was crossing my fingers it would even get close to the first homebrew batch. The one done at Stone is a lot more hoppy, crisp and clean, and not much of any coconut unless it really warms up you get a little.

I hate coconut...yet I will still buy this beer. I'm reading the reviews and thread and seeing light coconut taste. GOOD

This makes no sense - why not just get a regular IPA?

I had a bottle last night - disappointing. Even less coconut than the tap version.
