I agree, this isn't bad. Interesting choices, but they are all solid IPA's and DIPA's from what I hear, although I have never had Hopslam or White Oak Jai Alai.

Yeah, I haven't had them all either, but I have enjoyed the ones I have had and hear good things about the ones I haven't. To me the big thing here is it was on Fox news, a mainstream website, and it was a good list. Feels like a good step for craft.

Besides Hopslam on 8.1.13 being really a terrible recommendation (or the author trying to get idiots to self themselves in bottle shops)...

Great list of fairly obtainable beers nationwide. Just don't tell/teach the masses to check dates on 90m or sculpin.

    They'll never move.

I think the Jai Alai is far more better than the White Oak Jai Alai. 90 Min DFH is a fantastic beer though.

There are so many IPA's out there, this seems like a short list.

Lagunitas? NOT! Never seen a founders or Jai Alai on the west coast. The others: Sculpin, 90 Minute, Hop Slam, yeah they are all in the top ten at least. I find most of the Lagunitas offerings to be just OK.

"Its relatively low alcohol content allows drinks to sip this IPA, hence its name."

What does this sentence even mean?

90 Minute was awesome in 2003...now that beer gets beat out by many others that do it better.

Fresh is typically the best IPA.

I'm tempted to send them a fresh bottle of Union Jack, I have a feeling it's needed if Lagunitas made the top 6......

It is a pretty solid list though, so props where props are due. Well done, Fox

Had all but, all day. And while good to great there is better. Having said that , nice to see focus on craft period.

Yeah, and of White Oak Jai Alai they say "a classic IPA". Yes, oak aged IPA's are "classic".

But still, a pretty good list. All Day is the only one I haven't had.

Doesn't every abv allow drinkers to sip a brewski?

They got the Founders wrong, the Centennial IPA is much better.

Since when does 90 Minute taste like chocolate?
