With all these bad vibes going around about poor business practices and "calling out", I thought it was time for recognizing the good stores. Just a name and location is all that's needed. If you want to give additional info, go right ahead.

    I'll start:

    Hampton Falls Village Market
    Hampton Falls, NH

    -Great selection (for NH)
    -Friendly and helpful owners/staff

    Pinocchio's in Media, PA.

Tim, Dan, et al. to a great job keeping a great selection both in bottles and on tap. You also can't go wrong with the pizza there either.

Wally's in Los Angeles. You can buy mix&match singles here, the prices are reasonable, they carry items that you won't be able to find elsewhere and their customer service is second to none.

Basically the reason craft took off in town. It's a full-blown party store so only a part of the store is designated to good beer, but by far best selection in the area, and theyll do special orders if they don't have what you need.

-First wine growler station in the nation (so says the NYT)

-They can be a tad pricey on some things, but they are a great group of folks, have a great selection and do tastings every week.

Selection and prices might not be as good as some other areas of the state but they are knowledgeable, approachable, and they make it obvious that they appreciate your business. Friday night tastings too!

    Lynn's, Elkins WV
For a tiny store in the middle of basically nowhere in a state with poor distribution that very few people come to on purpose, these folks are doing everything that they can to make sure that you've got some good beer to take with you boating/camping/biking/hiking. Good on 'em.

Appalachian Vintner in Asheville is the most service-oriented shop I've ever frequented, anywhere I've lived.
I've always been beyond impressed with the selection and service at Julios in Westborough Mass as well.
GBX in Greeneville SC is also a winner.

Village Beer Merchant on Elmwood Ave. in Buffalo NY. Nice tap & bottle selection, cool ambiance & dog friendly. What makes the store a ++ is Vinnie who will be the manager of the soon to be opened store on Hertel Ave. in Bflo
