    Had a tasting tonight. Heaps of fun, so forgot to take pics until the last two.

    Black Damnation 666. It finally happened. HUGE lurking cellar whale. Thought I was gonna wait forever to do this, then just cracked it open when I had two friends over. Always knew this review was hardly ever going to be truly objective, but I just can't seem to find fault with this one. Perfect head retention, beautiful thick and creamy mouthfeel. Cognac is most definitely there, but not too much. Both base beers come through, you could taste them individually if you wanted to, or just slosh them together in your mouth. If they made this in 750s, the world would be a better place. Or at least way more drunk.

    Mikkeller Black 2007 vintage for dessert. A lot better than the fresh stuff, still a good bit of sharpie pen and nail polish remover though. I wanted to taste the BD 666 as sober as possible, so this was basically the only one that could stand up to being had afterwards :slight_smile:
