Opened a RareDOS tonight, it was as good as it was on tap IMO, which was fantastic.

I am starting to think my brother and i hit the lottery with our allotment. For reference i think we got ours from the last 10 cases or so.

Now, if i could just hit a different lottery in about 10 minutes...

The only one I received from this round of Rare was splendid. Luck of the draw?

Opened last 2 this weekend to see if they were infected and...they were. 2 of 4 were divine though!

Just another reference point, partook in a Rare, RareR, and Nooner this weekend at Great Taste of the Midwest. Rare was obviously infected and not good. RareR was not obviously infected, but was very thin which threw up some red flags. Nooner was delicious.

    Cheers!

Just heard from a friend of mine that the one I sent him was spectacular, so there are still some out there, that as I hoped that are thankfully not infected. Glad to hear though that Doug and everyone at Cycle/Pegs will be working to make things right with those who unfortunately got bad growlers.

So my question now is when is the grand Opening.

0 for 1. Bummed. Will definitely try again next release, have heard nothing but great things about the beer and brewery. These things happen.

Just had my first drain pour of this batch. Bought six, mine and one of my trades was bad. Beautiful beer to start though.

I had it fresh and don't let this infection issue get you down. It is phenomenal but it's just a small setback. Don't count Cycle out yet. They are great.

I don't think anyone's counting cycle out at all. From all previous accounts, they make amazing beer. Shit happens. Looking forward to trying their beer in the future.

Had one sent to me from a friend down that way and it was definitely showing signs of infection...Tart cherry notes, thin in body. It was a drain pour, unfortunately.

I agree with Masspike84...Doug and the crew at Cycle are fantastic, and I definitely won't let this deter me from sampling their brews.

I have no doubt that Cycle is going to make it right, my disappointment is solely because I was so looking forward to drinking these awesome brews...

Stopped by Peg's last week while in town on business and Doug treated my coworkers and I to some great beer. Went above and beyond what was necessary to make up for Rare DOS. A lot of breweries could learn from his example.

Would anyone near Peg's be able to proxy for me on the Batch 300 if I send the shipping label?
