Upright Brewing - Special Herbs Release

    Just released in Portland... no mention of it in the NW forum, so thought I'd just make a comment that it's on the shelves and is an amazing beer...very odd to me that it gets so little attention, but in a sea of great craft beer, I guess it's simply one of many.

    Must be nice when a beer like this gets released and no one says anything about it...this town really is neck deep in great beer...I'm just passing through and can see the gap between the culture here and most everywhere else...its a different "bar", pardon the pun.

    Must be nice, Portland...must be nice.

    Uh, I mean, you're completely wrong. It's rainy and dark and we're all miserable here. You're definitely better off staying home.

    I'm safely holed up somewhere along the coast right now, but headed back into enemy territory on Friday. I camouflage myself by wearing a brimmed skull cap, sandals, and a Go Ducks t- shirt...still must be careful in the event their dogs smell the Vegas on me.

    When I was there a couple weeks ago, Bobby said they're only putting out about a dozen cases at the brewery - the other 75ish to distrib.

    Don't ask me how or why, but Bier Stein in Eugene got a case. There were still bottles on the shelf as of yesterday.

    If any BA'er can help me find a bottle or two of special herbs for me to bring back home on my trip, I would def appreciate it. I have scoured Upright, Belmont, Beermongers, and Hop & Vine and haven't had any luck. Any helpful BM's would be awesome as I leave tomorrow afternoon, thanks.

    Give 1856 a call they got some in last week and bottles tend to stick around a bit longer there than other shops.
