Oh man, getting close. Sounds like anyone that isn't there within the next hour is probably out of luck. I feel bad for the Wisco folks that can't make it. I'm in AZ, but all my family is there, I was born there, have been to the brewery probably a dozen times and I'm having my wedding in southern Wisconsin in a month, so I count. :stuck_out_tongue:

Fortunately, I just got a call from my mom and she grabbed me two of this, two 20th's and a four pack of Wild Sour Ale. Awesome.

Went and bought some serendipity/rhubarb. Looks like they still have maybe 100 bottles left

Haven't been to the brewery in 3 weeks. Amazing how hard they are working out the courtyard/hill area, it looks amazing. Forget one of the most beautiful breweries, most beautiful places period.

Yeah, haven't been there, but the photos look amazing. I was just posting on another forum about how large and incredible it all is (inspired by the new tank photo they posted on Facebook), but especially for a brewery that only distributes to their home state.

When my mom left about 15minutes ago, they said she was number 253 and I'd be shocked if anyone in line bought just one bottle.

It looks like it will last a little while longer. There is no line now. Lots of Wild Sour there too

Didn't end up having time to stop there...glad it sounds like a reasonable line though. Everyone else enjoy one for me!

No one posted this yet, so I will. I was #112 and Dan Carey spoke just before the release about this Lambic Style beer. He said that while you can drink it now, it won't be as complex as it will this Fall. It is still fermenting in the bottle and he recommends to keep it at around 70F. I guess I'll wait until Thanksgiving to give it a try.

Twas a nice casual release with an orderly line. I wish more releases were like this.

That really, really sucks, man. Hopefully you can find someone who managed to get more than two to give one up to you.

I agree 100% with Ri0! Dan C. is really passionate about his sours that he brews! He said that October would be the earliest that he recommends to crack open a bottle of this sour beer. Its going to be hard to wait that long... I think that our patience will be rewarded with another awesome R&D sour. Thanks Dan, Deb, and all the New Glarus staff! Keep those R&D sours coming!
