    New Flanders Red Ale

Happy NBS everyone! Just finished my first new beer of the day, Panil Barriquée Oak-Aged Sour Red Ale. I thought it was a good tart brew, my review is here: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/2467/33380/?ba=bluejacket74

I'll be putting on my pics later on in the "What are you drinking right now" thread. I should have another new beer review on here in a little while. Great reviews by everyone so far, and hoping to see some more new beers on here in a bit!

    New American Wild Ale Sunday

Here's my second new beer review for the day, Rivertown Brewing's Old Sour Cherry Porter: http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/22157/84292/?ba=bluejacket74

It's an imperial porter, combined with Michigan cherries and aged in Bourbon barrels. Not a bad combination as far as I'm concerned, I liked it. I'm still debating whether or not I'm going to drink another new beer. But if I do I'll make sure to post it on here.

Lovely post-"surprise" family/friend graduation party offering.

My best grad present was a craft beer of the month membership. Can't wait to see what that's like.

This was a lovely Belgian offering from the state up north.

    Happy NBS!!

Checking from the channeled scab-lands of eastern Washington, Google the word "coulee" for details.

I'm having a very nice summer ale from the folks at Fremont Brewing (Seattle). Light, sweet and tasty, perfect for a "dog days of summer" afternoon like this one.

Warm and a bit humid for the region today. We have had a few thunderstorms and rain showers in the last week. Not real thunderstorms like the mid-west, just our wimpy northwest variety.

I noticed today that I am fresh out of new beer in the DBF, so I have some shopping to do this week. Until then...

    Happy Trails!

    New fruit/veggie beer

A great summer Sunday in West MI. Blue skies and warm temps. Witnessed a no-hitter thrown on our local ball club last night and enjoyed this brew while watching my boys and my dad wash the cars. Quite the relaxing afternoon.

Last one of the night for me. Grilled up some bbq ribs and had sweet corn for dinner. Nice, easy going Sunday for me. Hope every one made the best of today.
A decent Baltic Porter, but a nice one to end the night on. I get plenty of bakers chocolate, cola, and dark sweet fruits.

    NEW AMERICAN DOUBLE/IMPERIAL IPA SUNDAY
This evening it is 87 degrees and mostly sunny in Spokane. In the wee hours of the morning there were some impressive lightning flashes. Spent the day cleaning house while listening to the Mariners and filling out job applications.

Today I went with Green Flash's Palate Wrecker:
    http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/2743/45175/?ba=woemad
I was somewhat underwhelmed. This one may have had a little age on it, and it was a little too fruity-sweet for my tastes.

Tried a couple of IPAs that I never had before.

    This one is terrific.
