Should be fun watching these pre-trades get unwound when the traders can't get DDG because of a bad decision by Lost Abbey to use an inferior ecommerce site.

    Beer is actually carbonated.

    No one can buy it.

Is that an Alanis Morisette song?

I seriously question whether Alanis actually knew what the meaning of irony was. But that's neither here or there.

Would it be ironic if she didn't actually know the definition of Irony?

No, since that's exactly what you'd expect based in the song

What would be ironic is if she knows exactly what irony is and wrote the song to troll you

How common is it for people to back out of pre trades? I'm not throwing anyone under the bus by name but I've had 2 people now offer something up then come back now to say they need more since someone else got more for their DDG. It's not a huge deal but I feel like a dick after I tell one person no that I already have something locked down and then have to come back after that original agreement falls through. I guess it's bound to happen when people are setting up trades for beers they won't have until September.

And I would say no thanks and good luck on the trade. Then they get put on to the personal "no trade" list

Bad trader list. I assume it wasn't you with the DDG? Time to expose them. I would like to know the names for my list and ridicule

seriously, out them. I am tried of these indepth definitions of bad traders. I think the definition of bad trader should be someone the community does not want to trade with. Not "well this guy stole a box, and hasn't shipped for 8 months, but then decided to ship, so maybe he isn't a bad trader, and also he was laid off right before trading so money might be tight, and his grandma died #lifehappens".

If we cannot label these guys bad traders can we have an official asshole trader list? Put these guys and those who lie about bottle cost, and other shitty actions on the list. If you set a trade up and cannot reasonably hold up your end, then on the list you go. If you wanted more for your bottle, too fucking bad, maybe you shouldn't have prematurely traded and kept it in your pants. Plus, I would assume (hope) the person you are sending the bottle to would understand and respect you for keeping the deal and hit you up with amazing extras.

parrotsnest, if you do not feel like outing these people in the thread please send me a message with their names. As i would like to know who these types of people are and never deal with them on these boards or in real life.

That kind of behavior has nothing to do with pre-trading, and everything to do with those traders being greedy, no-integrity weasels whose word means nothing. You don't want to trade with them.

My trader had a bottle of another cluster bottle release and backed out to get more. He is now on my profile page to not recommend. And it wasn't like he had one bottle of it to trade.
