Saw this popped up again at the RR Brewery. Does anyone know if it's making its way into bottles again? Missed it last time around and would love the chance to try again...

You could probably trade for a growler. My friends ship those in trades.

I'm in the area for a few days and will be hitting up RR tomorrow, but I've never shipped beer before and don't think a growler is the right place to start. Besides I'd probably only look for stuff like the Bourbon County variants.

I heard they were doing another run of bottles in March. It's almost always on tap now at RR.

I was up there in October to get some Framboise for a Cure and I asked them about bottling Row 2, Hill 56 again. They said "probably in a month or so" and that was 4 months ago, so who knows? When they do bottle it again though, I will definitely be going up there to buy a case. One of my favorites!

Excellent beer. Barclay's had it on tap a couple months back.

There hasn't been any official news about it. I imagine that they'll let us know (via FB, blog, e-mail list, etc) when it's happening again.

Beachwood BBQ SB just put this on it's board yesterday as I walked in. Still tasting good. Would love to see this in bottles again.

Got a growler at RR the other day, haven't tried it yet though. Can't wait!

Row 2 Hill 56 510ml bottles are now listed under coming soon. I was hoping that they would bottle after they mentioned the new tank they used to bottle Shadow of a Doubt.

I saw that, as well -- definitely great news. I'd be fine with them stopping Blind Pig bottles in favor of Row 2, frankly. Or alternating batches? Either way, good stuff.

I'm fine with them stopping Pliny to bottle Row 2/Hill 56.

I agree from a drinking standpoint, but Pliny trades way too well to ever turn off that faucet.

Don't know about bottles but finished a growler of it a couple weeks ago from vacation. Delicious

Wasn't R2H56 supposed to be part of a single hop series? Did they just abandon that, or was it just a brewpub only thing of which Row 2 was just the most popular one?

I don't think it was a single hop series, but it was going to be three different pale ales. First they did the It Takes a lot of Great Beer to Make a Great Wine in bottles, then they did Row 2, and they were going to release Happy Hops in bottles, but I'm not sure if they ever did.

I just went and and look on their site; it says:

"100% Simcoe hops make up this beer from start to finish! It is named for the location in the experimental hop yard in Yakima, WA, where it was first created. Simcoe is grown by 3 families in the Yakima area, from all of whom we buy this particular hop (and other hops) — Carpenter, Perrault, and Smith. This is one of several beers we plan to make in our NEW “Hop Grower’s Series” highlighting certain hops from our growers! It has that trademark Simcoe nose with citrus and pine, nice bitterness and tasty hop flavors round it out."

That series was what I was talking about, but I never heard anything else about it. If those other ones are in that series, it doesn't seem like they say it is on the site.

I think it was separate from It Takes A Lot of blah blah blah, the idea was to do Row 2, Segal Select, and Happy Hops. I think those 3 all highlight specific hops from a specific farm, though I'm only certain that's the case with Row 2.

I hope it reappears in bottles soon ... I first had Row 2 Hill 56 in a flight with Elder, Younger, and Blind Pig. I thought Row 2 was the best of the group. Only had it once since then though.
