I'm hooked on Gumballhead and wanted some help finding other tastey wheat IPA's...

Brash Brewing's Item Nine is listed as an American Strong Ale but is essentially a wheat based DIPA.It's no Gumballhead or Lil' Sumpin,Sumpin but it's better than 80 Acre in my opinion and overall a good beer.

I second 80 Acre and Akari Shogun. I'll also throw Thresher IPA from Toppling Goliath in there....a new one from them, but draft only.

Ps. Weren't you the "beers like Gumballhead" guy?

Edit: Apparently so. Surprised you didn't like the Shogun, but glad Majestic was a hit.

Majestic was terrific...Maybe the Shogun wasn't fresh. Probably have to try it again.

Lil Sumpin Sumpin would be my #1 Choice
Hop Sun is a good one to consider too, though its not on IPA realm by any means, still a good hoppy wheat

Lil Sumpin Sumpin and 80 Acre. I haven't had many others, these two are awesome. Personally, I prefer 80 Acre just a bit more more.

I'm sure it was fresh (I won't reveal how, but I know ). Did you have it out of the can or a glass? Did you let it warm just a bit? That stuff is super juicy - bright tropical flavors (mango, pineapple, kiwi, papaya), a bunch of citrus too, virtually no bitterness, yet not too sweet.

Maybe you're just an Amarillo fan (as opposed to a Pale Wheat Ale fan)?

This is available in Wisconsin, but I'm not sure if it can be found out of state.
My second choice would be Lil Sumpin Sumpin.

Yup...out of a glass...warmed to about 50*. Got very little of the flavor profile you described....
