11-14 year old stouts and barleywines at $60+. I cannot imagine the buyers remorse.

The Poseidon I had last year was very, very good. $60 good, maybe not, but $15 split four ways, I would do that.

At the PNA Winter Beer Taste last year I "won" a bottle of 2001 Leviathan at the silent auction for $25. For that price it was awesome. Not sure I would shell out $60 for it though unless I was splitting it with a bunch of people.

I stopped in there tonight. Unfortunately there wasn't any AD left  but aside from that.....I was blown away! Not a massive selection or anything, but still, for a Shell gas station? Really?????? Place was unreal.

Not sure how baller it is when all you need is $70 and some free time....

I mean, I buy my seedless watermelons at Whole Foods, not Costco. How baller is that man?

I don't consider buying a $62 old ass stout, posting 10-15 FT's in a desperate attempt to trade it away for walez and then splitting said wæl with 18 people and raving about a 1.3oz pour to be "balling". Just one humble beer geeks opinion though.

Surely you've heard the legend of Icarus. Greek guy, wax/feather wings, flew too close to the sun...
