Flying in for business this week and might catch a game, how's the beer/food. Any place I should hit up at the stadium?

How about liquor stores in Minneapolis, I've only gone to one, which had a sightline to the dome. Staying at W Tuesday, Hilton Wednesday. Would need to be like a mile walking distance.

Both the beer & food are very good. For beer, look just inside the "Kirby Puckett Gate" in right field. Surly & the best lineup in the stadium there. The amount of good food is far better than your regular 'stadium' fare. For my money, the Angus Burger is killer, & about as big as your head. The Kramarczuk's Brats kick ass, too.

It's a great place. Take a long stroll for an inning or two & look around, if you're not craving a burger/brat, there's plenty of small places with unique stuff.

Use the beer finder on Surly's web site to locate a good beer store. Type in the zip code & it'll show you what's in that zip. Often (though not every time) anyplace with Surly is a good shot to have some other good stuff, too.

Surly, Schells, Summit, Fulton, and Lift Bridge are available at the stadium. AZ Canteen, Kamarczuk's, and Mac's Fish and Chips are good for food. If you have time check out Fulton taproom a few blocks from the stadium. Haskells liquor store downtown (8th and Marquette) is a block or two from the W/Hilton.

If you want to pay up to $9 per pint (if it was even a pint...)

Haskell's is your best bet or North Loop also has some nice selection too! If you stop int Haskell's ask for Coco or Josh, they know their stuff!

Town Ball Tavern in left field, below the Bud Deck, is my favorite Target Field beer spot. They have Summit Sagá IPA and Fulton IPA for sure. Speaking of Fulton, we always stop at their taproom before games, it's a fun place. Haskells is probably your best bet for a liqour store. Lots and lots of other great restaurants and beer spots in the area as well.

You gotta hit the Valentini's mozzarella stuffed meatball. Best value at TF, unless Tony Olivia is greeting customers at his Cuban Sandwich kiosk, in that case get a sandwich and shake a legend's hand.

This just in: food and drink at stadiums are expensive!

North Loop Wine and Spirits is my absolute go-to and if you are in town late this week, they may have 9-15 Enjoy By.

As for beer, listen to the crowd - when you go in the main front entry that comes through the plaza, directly to the left is the Minnesota Beer (or something like that) where they have fulton sweet child of vine (or lonely blonde on occasion) and surly furious on tap. They also have a number of other beers in the cooler.

and to those bitching about the prices: They are always expensive at stadiums, and I am a season ticket holder so 10% off all purchases, including beer! Only perk of being a season ticket holder right now though.

Finally got in after weather delays yesterday, Haskell's is actually right across the street from my company's office, after a quick stop in, I already know I'm going to do some damage there.

E: And yes, stadium drinks are always expensive, but $9 for craft is quite a bargain compared to Yankee Stadium/City Field prices.

The one downtown is nice - if there isnt something there, they may still have it in back. If you are a Stone fan, see if they have Enjoy By today, i think they are on the early distribution (thursday AM rather than PM or Friday).

Opinion, legends club or diamond box. Difference on stubhub is $16.50.

I like the club. It has a separate, spacious concourse, wider seats, great views, also some great memorabilia on display- especially the Kirby Puckett collection.

Check out Fulton's taproom just off the backside of the stadium.

I've got a friend heading to Minneapolis this wknd and is staying right by Target Field. Pretty sure he is gonna be going to Haskell's for a beer haul. For those that go there somewhat regularly, is their stock pretty fresh when it comes to locals like Indeed, Fulton, Surly, Lift Bridge etc? Thanks for the help.
