Can't speak to what actual batch number I got, but I picked up two 5 sciences that had the white sticker attached to the cap. Drank the first (it was carbonated and in my opinion absolutely delicious) then traded the second one for a long time want. Heard no complaints on the back end.
Drank my first batch this past Friday. Carbonation was there; this bottle "cellared" at 60ish degrees for more than 90 days. First couple sips, excellent melon and tart profile. But then, that lingering "Band Aid" aftertaste. And then overwhelming smokiness. And later, a more pronounced medicinal taste. Couldn't finish the bottle. For shame.
I got a bottle two week ago. I don't know if it was the 2nd batch or not but it had the sticker over the cap. Me and my friends though it was good. I would not want to drink the whole bottle to myself though.
If you drank this beer and it didn't taste like pureed ham then you probably got the second batch and they some fixed it. The first batch was truly terrible.
i had a bottle of the first batch when it was first released at HF, it was delicious but not carbonated at all. i still have a bottle as well.

I drank a white sticker bottle in Vermont back in June. It was stellar. Luv u, Fantome. I'm now going to sing Drake's "Just Hold On/We're Going Home" around my house and try to work the word Fantome into the lyrics as much as I can.
