Enough to where most normal people would think I have a problem. Or, said another way, A.D.I.D.A.B.

Quite a lot. It competes with music, sport, science fiction, food and my other various obsessions.

I think about it everyday...This could be do to the fact that I only drink it about 2 times a week so im always anticipating it and wondering what I should drink..

I also have many carboys filled of homebrew which I think of everyday, and for some odd reason always assume i've messed up and every one is infected until I try it.

Think of beer, think of beer fondly
    When we've said goodbye
    Remember beer once and awhile
    Please promise beer, you'll try

Then you'll find that once again you long
To drink beer and be free
If you'll ever find a moment
    Spare a thought for beeeeer

I formerly read the local sports page first every day. Now? First thing in the morning, I check Facebook. I absolutely despise Facebook, but I need to check up on all my friends...it is crammed with brewery and store "likes" and not much else. So when my wife asks "did the Sox win last night, I say I dunno but Store XYZ is getting Beer ABC today, so I might be a little late...honey..." Then I check my personal e-mail to read whatever brewery/store/restaurant newsletters have arrived since I went to sleep after staying up to ridiculous hours reading beer books, forum posts, perusing brewing/brewery web sites, checking out brewery locations I can someday visit, what stores are having tastings, etc. then I check my work e-mail to see what's on the docket that will interfere with reading and learning about beer, and by that time I realize I am 45 minutes late for work...where I log on to find out what I missed during the twenty minute commute, answer some work stuff, then get to coffee break and catch up again, etc...

Pretty much like that. Family, church, and music still come in as the top 3, but it is a rabid dogfight after that between beer, sports, beer, racing (spectator), beer, motorcycling (no beer), gardening, beer, food, beer pairings with food...uh-oh...whew! Thank goodness for the bike.

The very strange thing is comparatively speaking, I don't actually drink much beer. One every other day sometimes, and I can go weeks without drinking any. I had four last Saturday at a cookout we had and that was more than I've had in a long time. My son visited a couple weeks ago, went through my stash and said "I thought you said you were gonna drink this down - looks like you've added since Christmas".... OK - ya'll figure THAT out....

I think about beer all day...at work...I trade beer with the patients at my office...I should be talking about chiropractic and wellness but the conversation always goes back to beer.

I'm thinking about drinking beer, making beer, and finding the latest limited releases way too often.

I am pretty sure that the smallest observable measurement of time, the jiffy, about 1x10^-41 seconds, could not fit between my continuous thoughts of what the next beer I can score is, who I can dupe into bringing me it,etc.

That's junkie mentality folks. Embrace your inner beer junkie :open_mouth:)
