I would have a fine Pilsner, whether American or imported. Fresh as could be. Craft and nons would appreciate it. Maybe even some "Lite" folks would like it. I'd also serve killer cheeseburgers.

Oatmeal Stout or a local IPA, like Foothills Jade or Green Man.

Summit Gold Soverign ale. An English IPA brewed with four newish English "hedgerow" hop varieties and an obscure floor malted brand of Marris Otter called Westminster (not Warminster). Only brewed once as part of their Unchained series. Probably the best beer I've ever had. Alternate would be Freemont Summer Ale (I think that was its name). Had it at their brewery in Seattle, a simple pale ale made with nothing but 2-row malt and Amarillo hops. Really outstanding. As a matter of fact about every four beers I brew I make a an all Amarillo pale ale along those lines. Love Amarillo hops. Alternate alternate would be Summit Sagá IPA. The best beer brewed on a regular basis with wide distribution currently available in Mn. Also, one of the best IPAs brewed anywhere period.

Although most of my highest rated beers are imperial stouts with other strong styles such as old ales/barleywines thrown in, if I were to have a "house beer" as you describe it would almost certainly be an IPA/DIPA. Some of those other styles I would never consider drinking everyday. So with that in mind, Id go with Hopslam. As a backup Id probably say COAST BoyKing. I wanted to say Duet, as its the best single IPA Ive ever had, but since Ive only had it once and those other two Ive had more times than I can count and are tried-and true, they seemed like more appropriate answers.

I would have to go local and put Field 41 Pale Ale from Bale Breaker Brewing on tap. A great pale ale with enough hops to please the hop head and enough malt to appease the craft beer newbie.

If I were to go with a more well known brewery I would put Sierra Nevada Pale Ale on tap. Solid beer which should be appealing to most.

Sierra Pale Ale if I was realistic.
Zombie Dust or Hopslam if it was a pipe dream.
