What style - that they haven't yet put out - would you most like to see Olde Hickory brew?

I'd like to see a Berliner or some hoppy lagers.

I tried their Comet Pale Ale, and that hop smells fantastic. I was told there are going to be doing a single hop pale ale series for a while to experiement with new hops.

Since it's that time of year: how about a big pumpkin beer aged in some of their many bourbon barrels?

Ha! I'm not a fiend for them by any means, but I bet Olde Hickory could do a barrel-aged one justice. Something on the level of Heavy Seas' Great'er Pumpkin.

I'm on a big hoppy lager kick recently. I really like Shift and really enjoyed Great Lakes Silver and Gold IPL. I was in Boston a few months ago and was able to sample a lot of Jack's Abbey stuff. I really really am warming up to hoppy lagers and no one in NC is really doing that style yet.

I think it would be cool to see Irish Walker aged in Johnny Walker barrels. Or if they did single hop IPA/DIPAs that would be dope, too! (since it is the craze everywhere else)

I like the idea of a barrel aged Pumpkin but instead bourbon barrels, I would like to see them age it in something more unique such as a wine/brandy/oak barrel. Personally I am bored of the all the bourbon barreled stuff and prefer the oak/wine barrel stuff better.

I'm not a fan of wine barrels at all! Bring on more rum barrels!

A dark mild would be awesome - but I don't hold out hope.

I'd love to see them do a milk/sweet stout or do Event Horizon with Vanilla Beans:slight_smile:
