Your favorite room temp session beer

Relax people, it's a light question not a bad one necessarily. Beats ANOTHER thread of folks moaning about the popularity of some mass marketed macro brewed product.

 

First I need to know the answer to a question because my answer depends on yours.

By "session beer" do you mean a beer at or less than 4% ABV? Or by "session beer" do you mean any beer I'm willing to drink more than one of in a row.

 

Odd the disdain for room temperature beer. I have all my beer stored on the living room floor. Always tastes perfect to me.​

Harvey's Mild would be my suggestion, though I realise there's absolutely no chance of you being able to find it.​

 

I find it hard to believe that people enjoy session beers at room-temp, nor do I understand why anyone would store them in the cellar as opposed to the refrigerator. A (or in this case, probably several) cold All Day IPA is definitely not doing it wrong.

 

Try spending a few weeks (or months) of weekend afternoons/evenings drinking session strength cask dispensed Milds and/or Bitters with friends in a quality British Pub, preferably one in a semi-rural location and a great view of the countryside. Your understanding would grow exponentially.
