A 6L Bottle??

Still debating about buying that 6L Curieux at my local shop.

 

Prairie Ales just filled some 9 liters

 

Depends on the beer and how many people are coming over to drink it.

 

Did a Stone 3 liter a couple years back with a couple of friends. If I had several fellow BAs to share it with then it would be pretty cool just to say we did it.

I love the fact that you put the 750 next to it. The funniest part is, if you hadn't also put the 12 oz bottle in the picture, I might've mistakenly assumed that the 750 *was* a 12 oz bottle because of how much the 6L dwarfs the 750. It's almost comical.

How much does something like that run?

Large format (bigger than magnum) wine is something that is also so intriguing to me. I assume the reason huge bottles are so rare is the extra packaging and the boxes would be non-standard making palletizing etc difficult?

 

If I was rich I would buy a 9L Bottle & hire 3 midgets to pour it for me.

 

Only 299? That's not that bad. I think the 3Ls were roughly $200 here.

 

Prairie is filling 2 9L bottles soon. They just posted it on Facebook yesterday.
