Go here to drink, but not to eat. This place should've opened only as a microbrewery, not a brewpub. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but after being there twice in 2 weeks, they don't even deserve it. On opening day, it took 1/2 hour just to get a beer. Several servers looked my way out on the patio & never came over to ask me a thing. I went inside to ask a waitress for a menu, & got one sometime later. There was another wait for the beer. It wasn't crowded outside. I asked for a lunch menu, & was told their kitchen was too small & they don't serve on the patio. All they have for lunch are appetizers anyway. The Imperial Saison was good at 8.8%, but the Allagash guest beer was $9 for the same size, a real ripoff! When we returned a week later, they decided to start serving on the patio. They had small portions for high prices. We asked the waitress, & she never told us it was tapas, small plates, or appetizers. It was a real royal ripoff! They have no wine menu or wine, so my wife had nothing to drink. We could've gotten a real meal each elsewhere for what their tiny 'entrees' cost![$15] This is the biggest disappointment of any new place I've been to in Sonoma County in over 10 years, whether a brewpub or alehouse. This barlow brewpub is a yuppy swine country tourist trap. I looked forward to this place for years, but still have to go to santa rosa for a reasonable place. This is exactly what brewpubs aren't supposed to be like
