From Founder's Facebook Page. Bottled Today. Can't wait for it. Red's Rye and their Porter were their 2 best year round beers when they were year round.

Is this staying in 6-packs? Love this beer fresh.

Pretty sure yes - but seasonally. Draft all year long.

No I don't think it is. Back when Founders announced their 2013 lineup they said that Red's Rye was always sold close to a loss and is the most expensive year round beer they make. To equal out them charging 10$ for a 4 pack of Red's Rye they have said they are releasing Breakfast Stout in 6 packs for 10$. Which I'm okay with because Red's Rye will only be sold September and October now and only stays fresh for 90 days. Breakfast Stout is sold October to February.

Is this typically easy to find on the shelf or on tap in Philly/SEPA? Founders is one of the more challenging breweries for me to access on the beers of fame (FFF is the end-boss).

I know they are no longer doing Breakfast Stout in 6 packs. They announced that when All day ipa became year round. Hopefully this is six packs.

    I deem this official.

I actually did look at the title of this thread and think to myself, "When did I post this?"

I may be committing blasphemy, but Red's isn't my favorite. Good brew, sure, and I
I'll pick up a pack, but I wasn't that heartbroken when they moved this to seasonal.

I really love this beer, so great news. I'll be sure to get some.

Liquor store here advertised $5.99 for a 4 pk. Seems a bit cheap, no?

I miss it year round, but with a seasonal release it has a better freshness guarantee. Freshness was an issue when it was year round, around here.

Easy? Not necessarily. But most decent bottle shops tend to carry some -- and if you're willing to take a drive, I've never had a problem finding it in most decently stocked Central NJ liquor stores.

had last year's red rye and it was fantastic. so fresh, for Connecticut, on tap that it had this hop-crystal taste to it.

Breakfast never has been a 6 pack, but rumor has it that is going to change. I really like Red Rye, but freshness has always been an issue. When fresh it was excellent.

For that price, I am not sure if I care about freshness.

Founders previously announced that Breakfast Stout was going to be in sixers at no extra charge, but then backpedalled on it a few months later when they decided to make All Day year round.
