1,000 bottles. How many Catador members are going in on it?

For those that don't know, Raspberry Imperial Aged in Port Barrels. I still need to try my FI, but I will be definitely trying to get this.

No one will be going for this. Feel free to wait until 8 to send your email, you want to make sure to build in a good time buffer so you don't get disqualified for sending the email early.

I know i'm going to try to calm myself, but I have a feeling i'll still go all rage face when I see someone post this beer in FT: , especially if i'm not fortunate enough to grab one.

I believe I saw that it was under 1000 who responded out of 1350 bottles.

FI was extra bottles. I have a feeling that this will be in higher demand. I just hope that it is not as bad as the Catador signup, where seconds made the difference.

I have a feeling that as long as you respond in the first five minutes you will be in for sure. Just gotta remind yourself about it. A ton of people will forget. I'm not worried. Plan on sending at 7:00:05 anyway though.

I'm in Europe right now and planning on setting an alarm at 1am to send the email. When my dad wakes up in the morning I'll remind him to send one, but as long as I get one I'll be happy

Doubt it because in the Catador sign up we were competing with thousands of other people trying to get in. I sent my email around 8:00:02 and I got in on the second round (thank god). I could have gone up to CCB but I thought it wouldnt be as crazy as it was. Here we''re only dealing with 1500 total. So, unless every Catador member signs up at 7:00:00 then itll be tough.

I know i wasnt getting any emails for a while because my GMail was putting my Catador emails in the new 'Promotions' folder and i was never alerted.

There is a percentage if the 1500 members that will only get the 5 beers allotted and no extras.

I agree that it probably won't be as crazy as the sign-up. But I still plan to send mine a few seconds after 7. I would guess, however, that it will sell out pretty quickly unlike FI.

definitely sending just after the tick of 7. Just to be safe. Already tested out the time stamping... gmail to gmail is instant... that helps! no delay like we saw from some mail servers to and from gmail getting 10 mins - 2 hr delays!

I heard from someone that about 30% of the 1500 members don't even open their emails so that means only 1050 members actually do open them. I agree that some people just signed up for the 5 bottles, discount, and just to say they are a mamber.

Less than 1000 members reserved an extra Forgotten Island and they had 24 hours to do it so im hopefull that the majority of active members will all get a bottle of 110K. I believe 110K will also be distributed/sold at the brewery as well, but im not 100% on that.

From my understanding, there are only that many bottle and no more. I don't think they would make us race to get our emails in if they were going to distro it.

I think he means we'll have extra bottles that El Catadors won't purchase... and thus they'd likely show up in the fridge at CCB.

Oh God, here we go again with the "I sent my email at 7:00:00:00:00:00:00:00:01 according to the world time clock and no email yet :slight_frown:"
