Serious question: why is there more demand for the early session? I know this year is different with the Imbibe early entrance and pre-sale, but it has been this way for years. Do people want to see the medals awarded or something? The same beer is being poured at both sessions.

 

How do you end up just "finding" them? Were they stuck in between your sofa cushions?

 

I'm solidly in the late session camp, but seems like there's always a few beers that kick in the early session and aren't put on in the late one.

i chose afternoon this year because i simply prefer daytime beer festivals.

 

Haha, my real story isn't that cool so I'll just say yes, I found them in my couch.

 

Haven't read through this thread yet and I'm sure there's lot of complaining going on about tix and I hate to add to it but I think I have a legitimate gripe.

had 2 tix for the early session in my cart...entered CC info (which you can't do unless you do actually have tickets ready to buy)....click to pay and get a message that there arent tickets in my cart. (cue sad trombone)

According to the site you get 15 minutes until your cart is void....I got less than 90 seconds. and obviously by then it was sold out.

 

So do we think that more will be put out like last year or do I stop refreshing?

 

Could just be less supply since more early session tickets were pre-sold?

 

Missed out but a friend had one in his cart and couldnt go to second session. So he put my name on it. Great guy! but have been refreshing this whole time trying to get one for my wife anddddddddddddddd Booooooom! Just got one. An hour after release. Keep refreshing ppl. You still might have a chance!

 

Keep trying everyone, don't give up hope just yet - I just nabbed 2 for the afternoon session 2 mintues ago!

I'm kinda getting the feeling the buying beer festival tix online always seems to end in a mess. I assumed session 1 would be limited due to IMBIBE early sales. Not sure if they will add more for either session

 

This central time screwed me up!

I was on the hook to buy tickets for my 3 friends (4 in total). We are flying from Toronto for this event.

Anyone have some 1st session passes; I will bring you some Canadian brews and $.

Aren't festival tickets On Sale time usually the same as where the event is?
