I work for a craft beer store in lansing. We are getting a really limited quantity. I'm going to pick up a case if I can. Half of it will be for trade. PM me

 

Whole Foods Fairfax had them available today, sold out by around 1:30pm. 3 bottles per person limit, so I happened to be there at the right time. And as of yesterday, I am pretty sure TW McLean had them behind counter, I believe 1 bottle per (at least that is what I was told yesterday when I called).

 

So many things wrong with this post...

TW McLean is out. 2 per customer. I picked up a couple last night around 8:30, went back before work at 9:30 this morning and it was gone.

You work at a beer store, and you bogart a case of ltd release to trade instead of distributing to customers? Right, well that's pretty awesome.

 

I got 4 bc I'm flirt with the old ladies at TW weekly. It pays off. I love the beer, it's nearly as good as Hopslam IMO. If it were released at a cooler time I think it would be rated even higher.

 

Well, I keep half because I love IPA's but I believe generally people that traders on Beer Advocate know what a great beer is versus some of the people that buy beer where I work. I'd prefer those that understand what a good beer is get to enjoy it.

sold out at the bells general store. Anyone know where to score some in kalamazoo? I'd like two six packs.

 

I was able to get a six from TW in Alexandria, there are a few singles left on the shelf

 

How is this beer sold? 6 packs? 4 packs? I'm going to the store to buy some tomorrow cause they said they'd get it in then. Also how much does it cost? Is it that rare that they only sell it by the bottle?

 

I think it depends on the amount the store gets. When I went to TW, they had 2 cases but were selling six-packs. The other stores I called (WF) told me they were selling it per bottle and limiting it to one per customer

 

I understand that you love IPAs, but the beer was designated to be sold to customers, and perhaps put on a list for the "more frequent" shoppers. So what happens when customers ask for it, and you just walked away with 1/2 the stores stash? If I'm the owner I'd fire you, because customers come first. The beer store here has lots of great beers, and Lelise watches them come and go because they're off limits generally for the rarer stuff that they get a few cases at most. She won't touch it, she passes it on to us. To make it worse you post a little ISO to trade some off, really not something you should do IMO, but that's me. Like I said if I was the owner and I got wind of it I'd let you go in a hurry.
