I still have one of each. When we get to 12, I'll open all of them in one evening, like a Vertical Epic tasting in Hell.

I tasted some last night and it actually wasn't too bad. There isn't very much tartness going, it's just not as sour as you would expect given the style. Maybe time would actually help this one. It's nothing I would go out and buy because I'm not a huge fan of Ranger Creek in general and their price point is a little high for their quality of beer.

What was wrong with 5? Do you mean 3 or 5?

Hmm, looking at the reviews I only see one mentioning a sour flavor, so maybe it was an isolated issue.

Well... I drank about 2/3 of it before I dumped it. It's drinkable, but I can't help thinking I paid $8 + tax for it when I can buy Jacobins for $5. In giving it a 2.5.

Been hearing very mixed reviews on this one... so it's the best rated Small Batch to date!

I'll try to find it on tap when I'm off the next 2 days. I've tried all the others... why stop now?

They didn't keg this one, except for maybe one or two for an open house.

The BA MSP (#4) was good before the infection set in. Much better than#6. If #6 follows in the footsteps of 1-5, it should be quite a nice sour in a few months.

6 is ok if you like a earthy, woody not tart flavor. I'll open up the 5 I have to see how that one is holding up. All of the small batches have been good fresh.
