New Glarus is a great deal! $8.99 for a 4 pack of their limited Thumbprint stuff (which is consistently in the mid-high 90s here), $7.99 for a regular 6-pack? Their beer is a steal!

$9 here and not worth half; same with most Stone releases other than AB and Smoked Porter. Stouts and a few others reach into $10-11, which is ridiculous for a bomber. IMO it's too much for a 750 too, but those are more common.

Who said anything about trade value? Im talking about purely cost. Beyond Abraxas, the majority of their beers are rated less than 90. I've also never seen anything under $13 in VA.

ABusch and Miller because they should pay me to drink that sh*t.

I think Stone's stuff is a great deal; here in Chicago it's $6.99 or $7.99 a bomber, which for their stuff is definitely worth it.

Three Floyds is an interesting one. They sell their beer to go at less then the market price (they sell all sixers for $10 each where the avg. retail price is $12.99 or higher) however the food at the brewpub is super expensive and all a la carte. Either way, I dropped a shitload of money the day I visited there.

Apparently it was a reference to another post at another time. I missed the reference.

Hottenroth and Mischief are like, $9. Of course, all the ones I want to try from them are $12+...

    Dogfish Head.

I don't care for most of their stuff based on taste alone and when you factor in price, no thanks.

Any brewery that (near) exclusively sells bombers. Stone, Lagunitas, and Bear Republic get a pass since their bombers are on the cheap end and they also sell 4/6 packs.

I like Rogue, and around here the prices are about the same as other beers.

Some of their beers are overpriced, but The Bruery's fruited sours are competitive - $20 for a 750 of a fruited sour compared to Goose Island 650 for $18 or so.

The regular stuff is priced ok. I can get 60 min for $9-10 a six and 90 is around $10 a four and I can find Burton around $12-15.

The large bottle stuff is expensive and I only buy the My Antonia when it fresh brewed and then only once or twice a year. I was given hellhound and loved it but it is way too expensive to purchase.

    Enjoy

Petrus Oak Aged Pale is $8 mother bleeding dollars for the corked and caged 750ml. It blows 90% of the american sours out of the water. Tart of Darkness at 3x that price was stupid, for essentially the same sour profile (almost pure lactic) with little "funk".

You will be hard pressed to find a beer brewed with similar methods for less money.

Surly is pretty expensive here in MN. A 4 pack of Furious, Bender, Bitter, etc...can easily fetch $12.99/4 cans. A 4 pack of Coffee Bender a few dollars more. Same for Overrated and Abrasive. Bottles are usually $21.99-$23.99 or more.

Some liquor stores charge alot more....
