Hops are on their way to the brewery today from Hop Head in Michigan.

800lbs of Cascade and 400 lbs of Centennial.

Are they going to make more than one batch this year? Last year I believe they brewed using 2400 lbs of Simcoe.

I thought Todd had tweeted that it was going to be just Centennial? Maybe they changed their mind?

Hopefully they will do a fresh Citra one again in the near future. I loved the '11.

Yes, the Citra Wet was my favorite Surly beer to date. I drank a case or more of it myself

I wonder if they are not producing as much this year because last year it seemed to linger on shelves for quite a while after the initial barrage.

Can't wait to scoop it up.

ya, I thought the same thing. It 'lingered' for 1 day in the places I saw it...

If you see it 'lingering' anywhere please BM me where it is and ill make sure it gets consumed fresh =)

Maybe I'm not recalling this correctly, but I am pretty sure there was a bunch of Wet sitting around for weeks at a number of stores.

First canning flew, the rest sat for weeks everywhere but the big craft stores.

I was told they are brewing half as much as they did last year.

this is horrible news if thats true =(

wet is tied for my favorite surly beer. Its fine even after a month or 2, it just looses the grassy wet hoppiness.

Keep making a lot todd! Pleeeeease =)

Todd confirmed on his Fb that they are brewing less. Not enough free tank space for seasonals.

It is also an extremely hard beer to brew as well because of the time sensitivity.

Yes, they used 2400lbs of hops last year and only 1200 this year. So half as much beer is being made I guess?
