Last night's stellar lineup was one of the highlights of Raleigh Beer Week this week.

I never had any of these beers (indicated w/arrows) before last night and although Black Note (top pic) was ridiculously awesome, Bois gave it a serious run for best overall tasting beer of the night.

Looking forward to trying CBS for the first time tomorrow night!

Happy Friday everyone and cheers! Today is IPA Friday at my house and first up is Drake's Aroma Coma. It's a work of art.

 

Last night I went out with my buds for one of there 28th birthday... Man we are getting old Nothing helps getting old like a bar with more then one Toppling Goliath Tap! Me and Lyle (the one you can see) are enjoying the amazingness that is Zeelander and the birthday boy is having a Tsunami! I need TG to brew a beer that is not strait up amazing so I am not tempted to leave my house every day and go have one!



Now I am getting a little insane this fine morning. Have a well earned few days off after working out in this ridiculous heat for the last week!

I'm not drinking any of these right now, but we're leaving this morning for a long, much-needed mini-vacation out on the Pacific Coast of Washington. Not sure if I'll be posting any WBAYDN pix while we're gone, but if I do, I'll be sure to catch the sand and surf in the background.

So anyway, here's my lineup. Cheers and have a great Labor Day weekend!

 

Fantastic. I was worried about the peanut butter being overwhelming, but it wasn't. It doesn't last very long on the shelves here.

 

Hows is the intergalactic ? I read about the release on their FB Page.

 

Just got home from the park. These kids are going to wear me out! TGIF.

 

I do not like it at all! I've only liked 1 or 2 of their beers but am a fan of Galaxy hops so I thought I'd give it a shot. Almost undrinkable as expected. They need to switch to a diff yeast IMO.

 

Not my favorite imperial red ale, but its worth every cent!

 

That is an awesome lineup! I agree, Bois is an incredible beer. That's a great price for the pour, too considering all the bottles I have were about $28/750mL. Cheers!

 

I only had one child but I remember ages 2 and 4. Make sure you have lots of great ideas! lolz I envy you. My son is 21. I would go back to 2 or 4 anytime.
