    Easy solution - stop chasing hype and rarity. We have an absurd amount of good beer in San Diego, if you're having trouble getting excited about it, the issue is probably that you're getting off on the rarity as opposed to wanting to enjoy good beer.

    I'll be there Saturday AM. Drinking all the Red Barn (deal with that everyone who didn't get 1st session), picking up my DDG then heading to Churchill's.

    Seriously? Damn, dude, you need to experience a broader range of limited bottle releases. While I agree that the event was poorly organized and needlessly stressful for an online sale, it hardly qualifies as an "epic PIA." It's not like you were dealing with freezing rain, burning sun, parking lot camping, line-cutting, or getting shut out by hordes of mules.

    Nah. It's just the whole driving down there/ hotel room etc. I would like to try it at least is all. I heard DDG was good, so.. yeah. And I'll be sampling those other glorious SD breweries fo sho', nukka

    Hehe. Good point although that stuff would be over the day of the release right. I was emailing back & forth for weeks w/ LA ppl. Took my money & had no record of any transaction etc. It's all good now just.. I dunno I was drinkin last night & turned emo. Just sucks that guy got crushed to death by the forklift. I used to drive those things too and.. well my roommate was crushed to death at work as well and it just got to me when I was in my cups I guess. Anyway - time to pack up for some goozah
