I collected bottles like most newbies. Here is what I did before I recycled. I call this the B52 Bombers

Hey, it's OK. I'm sure a job will turn up for you eventually.*

    * Just kidding. I saved bags and bags of bottles @ first, removed the labels from most of them and tried to save the rest. Eventually we bought a new house and during the move, into the recycling every last bottle went.

Save them for homebrews, recycle them, or throw them in the garbage if the recycling bin is full.

I put them on the counter and my mom or dad (yes, I still live with them) takes them outside to the recyclable bin right away.

An empty bomber makes a good paper towel holder for your kitchen.

Trying my hand at cutting them to turn the cool looking ones into beer glasses. I usually only keep the ones with the screen print art so I can cut them and still have cool looking art leftover. The bottles with labels are no good since you can't wash them without the labels falling off.

If it is one I won't likely see again, my friend has a kiln and melts them flat and puts the labels back on, inserts
a hanger and it goes on the wall in the man cave.

Tried cutting the bottles to make glasses or other crafts that wasn't going so well so now I just remove the labels
and started making coasters that I'll trade for beers. All my friends seem to love them.

I used to save any bottles I had with foreign-language labels on them (I'm in Quebec pretty often, so I had a cool new French bottle/can every couple of weeks, the coolest being Tsingtao because there were actually 5 or 6 languages on there). Eventually I decided that they took up too much space and recycled them just like I do with any other.

Those are sweet. Does the paper ever come off from the moisture? Did you put something over the top of the label?

In college we tried to make a beer/liquor bottle version of the Colossus of Rhodes for our back yard. It got about 10 feet tall before its own weight started taking it down and we had to chuck it.

    Since then I just recycle.

I used to save one bottle from every different beer I tried and put shelves around the top of my living room to display them. Unfortunately I ran out of space then decided to move so I ended up having to recycle them all.
