    Noticed the label approval for "August's Bock" the other day -- as did some other fella...

    I am totally cool with two Bocks from Schell! And it's a collaborative effort with these folks. :slight_smile:

    I am glad this one is a craft beer, because I heard most of Schell's beers are not craft.

    Good eyes! And that reminds me: Capital's Blonde Doppelbock was always a nice one to tip-back every once in a while, but despite their recently announced embiggening process they still have such a screwy release schedule for their stronger, "Capital Square" series (and the local distribution is a bit wonky,too) that I wonder how I'll ever be able to do a side by side with these two. Hmm, maybe someone has a stash? :wink:

    Man -- I wish I didn't have to fight road construction and the dice-roll of what's available to find Schell's beers. I want this one!

    I was wondering the same thing the other day. What gives? This series rocked and was much more reasonably priced compared to the star of the north beers. OMG SOURZZZZZZ$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

    We have not retired the line, it just took a one year hiatus to make room for the 30th anniversary pils and hefe samplers. The next one will come out early next year, and we'll be announcing it pretty soon here. It's a fun one, I promise.
