Community Proper Glassware Spreadsheet/Thread

Us old guys learn something new everyday. Let me see if it is integrated (ie, don't have to sign up for a new account like Google/You Tube/etc). If so, I will try to upload a couple over the weekend as a test.

 

Personally I'd say no because that is not a Cuvee Rene gueuze tumbler.

 

Decided to pop this today for the master list. Tastes like chicken.

Feel free to post your pics here before you add them to the spreadsheet as well. I know we have the "Show off your cool glassware" thread already so let's keep this bitch strictly #properglassware.

I don't think the second column would be particularly necessary, only because there are probably some people that don't have any panache or pizzazz and it may just complicate the list as a whole. I think if you can make the picture pop (like yourself, ChugLife, etc.) then go for it, just makes it nicer to look at and everyone does appreciate it. The only thing I've noticed that I don't care for are the pictures that don't actually showcase the glass, I feel like it defeats the purpose of posting on the list. For example (and I'm not trying to pick on anyone, just trying to make a point), this glass looks like it could be awesome, but it's blurry and the bottom is cut off so I can't really tell. And I can't see the logo on this glass, it's hard to really get a scope of the design. On that second one, I realize a dark beer will hide a dark logo, but maybe just keep that in mind and include a pic with the glass empty? Just thinking out loud, really look forward to contributing more in the future.

 

By the way, LOVE this idea.

 

Unfortunately things like family and work have got in my way of completing this in a timely fashion. I've got several hours in a plane this week, hopefully I can use some of that time to get it finished.

It might be bending the rules, or even slightly cheating, but I used the same beer to #properglassware two different glasses. One is exact match #properglassware, the other is more of an #appropriateglassware or a #bestavailableoptionglassware. I ain't drinking any of that Kool-Aid flavored stuff, and I don't have access to the Cuvee Rene Kriek, this is the only option to #properglassware my vintage Lindemans glassware.
