    But it was only a 1 bottle limit last year becuase they screwed up. Pretty sure the other poster was right who said the year before there was no limit, or at least there was no limit after solstice and it hung around for awhile.

    Wasn't misleading....said 2012 on the bottle but as you read on it stated it was 2011 vintage

    Misleading to others, I should say.

    I've seen people refer to it as the "2012 vintage"...so it has definitely caused some confusion.

    (Thankfully, I have a special decoder ring to help me with Kuhnhenn labels)

    Nice dialogue here, but all I know is that they have a barley wine on tap now that is mighty tasty. Perhaps this is the batch that is now in barrels??? Hype train begin....now!

    Sucks the winter solstice is on a Saturday this year. You will have to lather up in oil just to squeeze into Kuhnhenns this year.

    It's kinda funny - 1 year I bought 100 bottles and the next year I bought 1. I might not get a sip this year.

    Well, I know what's going on because it's my job to, and I can say not only do we have BBBW in Bourbon barrels (has been in for a few months), but we are making some more as well. Additionally, we are putting a couple of other beers into Bourbon barrels that I am not at liberty to announce yet.
    Also, Solar Eclipse will not be available this year. We do not currently have plans to brew it in the future.
    Actually we planned it this way on purpose. It was a vintage release that we purposely set aside to cellar for a year so it could be re-released in 2012. The small amount and subsequent buzz resulted in the low bottle count per person.
    We've got some great stuff already planned for this year...

    AWESOME to hear!!! Would LOVE if regular 4D were available too...Its my total fav you guys make...I have a 2010 bottle im afraid to open cause dont know when I can get more bottles...lol...

    Time to speculate what other beers they put into bourbon barrels!!

    KRE? A mix of KRE and Michigan Mud in barrels? BB Creme Brulee Java Stout? Raspberry BB4D?

    My mouth is watering
