Ya, I bet you have never been deserted in the Mojave Desert with a broke down VW microbus. Then had one eyed hillbillys taking a liking To your girlfriend while buzzards circled overhead. No you probably only had faint uncomfortable feelings as gap tooth soccer hooligans stormed your pub and drank all your cask ale... Ha Ha Ha. Let me tell you a case of cold Bud will get you out of trouble quick

I started to get a craving for Anchor California Lager again- that's kinda like BMC but, ya know, good and all.

No, because I don't like the taste of AALs.

I never get a craving for cantaloupe either. Don't like the taste.
And I never get a craving for canned tomato soup. Don't like the taste.

It never ceases to amaze me that those of you who like AALs can't seem to grasp that some of us don't like the flavor of that particular style. "Well, there's a time and place for everything." Not if it doesn't taste good!

"Whoo boy! It's 90 out, just mowed the lawn, got all sweaty and dirty. Think I'll top it off by drinking something I don't like! Yeah, baby!"

This week during Sunday football, at a buddy's house, all that there was - Bud Light.

I have not had a Bud Light in a very long time, had two.........

My tastes have changed. What once I thought as was a refreshing, enjoyable beer was really quite poor, and hard to drink.

Not a snob, but if you eat mass amounts of basic ground beef for years, then you get a taste of a Char grilled thick cut Ribeye steak right off the grill, cooked to perfection, hot and juicy....you never really look at that basic ground beef quite the same anymore. Sometimes it might do the trick, but you rather wait for that Ribeye steak.....

Yup. A helles lager works well, too.

In all honesty, if I'm that parched, water is better than beer for me. Once I'm rehydrated, good pilsners, low ABV IPAs, and helles lagers aren't difficult to find.

I can't say that I ever liked any BMC light beers (e.g., Bud Light, the silver bullet, etc.). Now in my younger days, I had kegs upon kegs of them, but that was usually because they were cheap and a vehicle for getting buzzed. Don't do that anymore.

There's threads always make me laugh, I'll drink an occasional bmc, I don't care if anyone likes them or not. I'm not telling you what you should like or drink. The op asked a question , that's it, and sometimes I do.

Crave it? No. Will drink the hell out of it depending on the situation? Yes.

My dad bought me Grainbelt Premium as a joke while picking up some NG wild. I was suprised at how quick that sixer disappeared out of my fridge

Threads like this are funny. Most people have poor taste in beer whether they drink craft or not, so one group looking down on the other is full of delicious irony. Case in point people who say things like "AALs taste like shit" as if all AALs taste the same, the stupidity of which ought to be obvious.

Crave a BMC beer? Sure, if I was about to die of thirst and there was no other beverage of any kind available.

No. I'll only drink it if there is literally nothing else available. Over the past five years, I've probably had BMC 10 times, and 5 of those times were High Life.

Crave it. Not really, but it has it's place.

Coors lite in a can when I fish. Half the time, I sip it, set it down to fight a fish and waste half because its hot. Don't feel bad wasting it and I don't get drunk. Also, If I have to mow the lawn in the middle of the summer, I'll chug a Bud lt in about 5 seconds flat, then clean up and follow up with something better.

One of my Bud Red Belly fan best friends always asks me on the boat, "What's a coors light and a conoe have in common?".... They're both pretty fucking close to water!"

He's telling the joke wrong. Maybe he's not comfortable saying "making love in a canoe" when he's on the boat with you.

After I mow the lawn, a Miller can't be beat. I typically crave Chimay after a bath. Beck's after the laundry. If there's nothing else available and it's free, I would drink Alesmith. Same goes for Ayinger. I like Sculpin straight from the bottle when I'm going through my neighbor's empties.
