Whats the deal with this one? Price point/bottle count etc?? Hard to find?? Pretty intrigued to try it.

No idea on bottle count. I've seen it in the $12-15 range for a 12oz bottle. From what I can tell, not terribly hard to find in the Shelton footprint, but I got one a few weeks back, so it's possible things have changed. I would definitely expect it to get made again, so it shouldn't trade outrageously.

do you like stouts that have a completely overwhelming amount of vanilla? if so, you'll like vanilla shake. you won't otherwise.

Any word on vanilla shake vs creme brulee? Was not a fan of creme brulee at all... actually thought it tasted more like butterscotch

vanilla shake is much more drinkable than creme brulee, plus it's only in a 12oz bottle. that said, i love vanilla but this beer had too much vanilla.

Not necessarily related, but I poured Momi Hiwa down the drain after 2 sips because it was too sweet and syrupy. Vanilla Shake on the other hand..... I thoroughly enjoyed all 12 ozs and wish I had more. It was delicious and I don't care for Mikkeller beers....

Brûlée was a drain pour for me but I could power through the end of shake though it was quite rich. Paid $13 clams, saw a ton at crown liquors #14, can be bought at craftshack online as well.

Smells like a vanilla candle which I like, but lacks that original character of an oatmeal stout
