Awesome video!! I am so thankful to have a great brewery in my back yard!! Plus, I think it is pretty cool that their head brewer is an old high school friend!!

I like Founders as much as the next person who likes Founders, but that was a little over-the-top.

What's up with the part at the beginning where he got choked up and said he couldn't even talk about a subject? Did someone die in their early days or something?

Nice video, but I wouldn't want to sit through it again.

Great brewery though. I'm very grateful to have access to their beers. I don't think a day has gone by since I got into craft beer that at least 1 of their beers hasn't been in my fridge.

In the early days, they made tame, ordinary, run-of-the-mill beers and they nearly went bankrupt and had to go out of business. Finally, they said ``fuck it, if we're going to fail, we're going to at least make the kinds of beers we want to make''. They came out with Dirty Bastard and the rest is history.

Love what they do but that was cheesy as hell.

Eh. Trying to get documentary-level intensity into a 3-minute short comes off a little overdone. I get that it was hard work but still don't really understand the 'story' I think they were trying to convey. Why the emotion in the beginning? What's with the fireworks? And are those dudes in the cave ever going to take a drink of it or are they just making mud pies down there?
Still great beer, just don't feel what I think they wanted me to feel from that.

Seems to be a rip off of the Seirra Nevada video?

Seems like it's trying to only instill the warm-fuzzies in you. Some of the more frilly parts in there remind me of BMC advertising.

Overly dramatic company profile videos were cool in 2010. They didn't even do quick cuts of 40 people repeating inspirational words at the end of each sentence.

so do you have to be a hipster to like Founders? That's what I got from that video.

The only thing interesting about the video were the shots of Jeremy and Jason in the caves pulling samples from the barrels. Those shots were completely negated by some dude jogging barefoot on the beach wearing capris.

I want to try all of their beers so badly. I have had only two. Their ipa and the breakfast stoutand I thought they were both outstanding . So may times it takes the brink of failure to really bring out greatness. When you have nothing to lose - then - you can be creative and free. You can make your last great stand in defiance and excel thereafter because you dared to do what you had envisioned.

That video sucked balls! Overly dramatic. Might as well have had Anheuser Busch logos plastered everywhere. That's my insightful $.02

So sick of hipster d-bag stereotypes. Indie band members. Cafe racers. Foodies. Whatever.

97% of craft beer's success is thanks to average, overweight, middle class, family guys like myself who go to work during the day, mow the grass on the weekend, and spend as much time with our kids in between. We just happen to have a beer in our hand during a lot of it.

I could give two shits about this sort of puffery. Makes me feel quite disconnected from a brand that I happen buy a lot of.
