CANBIF Fall 2013

I am in the same boat, but more because my target and I shop at the same store (that is also my hint!). I may not be able to cover their wants (sorry!), but I am going to try to impress them with quantity!

What are peoples feeling on sending growlers (like the 32oz size ones)? It would mean the target would have to drink a lot of beer in a short period of time (ok, let the joking begin ).

 

I can confirm that the coordinates of my box are in fact west of my house. That officially eliminates one of my two next door neighbours.

 

Signature shipping acceptance is probably a good solution to that

 

I'm sending out lot's of locals and an array of imported gems as well. Hope my target in not Saskatchewan, Yukon, NWT, or Nunavut likes 'em!

 

I'm shipping southwest of my place and I'm paired with someone that has had it all!!!

As far as I am concerned I like most beers and I am always happy to get a new tick so check RB (same handle) to see what I have rated so far. If I had to choose my preference would go to sours first, then strong ales, then IPAs... I don't drink much stouts but won't mind if I get some either. Cheers!

 

Don't listen to Ian...send him a box filled with Malt Liquor, Spray Cheese and White Birch.

As for me I am lazy like some others on here in terms of gots and hads but happy with anything local to you that I have not had (see same username on RB to see what I have had), preference to fresh IPA or IPA, Stouts, anything BA, sours, or belgians.

 

Hint #2: People close to each of them were, however.

There is a method to this madness... I'll return to it a little later on

Somebody west of Ontario is about to get 241 oz of tasty liquid. No swag, tough sh*t.

 

Question for the group: Would you mind getting your box late if it meant the addition of some fresh Vermont IPAs? I have a trip planned for 28-30 Sep which means a 1 Oct mailing. To avoid thread clutter, I will assume a 'Like' means waiting would be OK. Thanks!

 

Ooh great question - similar one to the group. People not in BC - would you be prepared to wait for a late box if it contained a fresh, wet hopped local IPA? Release date is expected to be before the end of september, but might conceivably be early october. For the sake of argument, lets say the latest ship date would be Monday October 7th. Please like if you'd prefer to wait.

 

Jebus, that is a huge box....

 

Personally, I'm OK waiting if the sender is holding off because of a great local brew they want to include. I'm in the same boat....I am waiting on at least one, if not more, local wet-hopped beers that I want to include as long as the release dates don't slip too much....

 

Around 200oz of local and Michigan goodness heading north on Monday

 

HINT: Sartori comes to Vancouver on Monday and there is no limit on bottles at my fav store.
