Sorry for my harsh remarks. I have had better hop profiles with cheaper beers using these type of hops. As a first ever post as a long time lurker I apologize for my negativity. My bad

I guess I am getting more picky in my older age with all these beers of goodness? Good problem to have I guess? LOL

I'll join the disappointed group. Wet is one of my favorite beers, but this years just isn't as resinous and "wet" as prior years.

thanks for making me feel better about buying a 12 pk of Schells Octoberfest for $12 instead of wet.

I have to join the masses. While not bad by any means, this year's batch is not my favorite. I'm a sucker for citra and simcoe so it's no surprise but still a bit disappointing after a year of anticipation.

So if you don't like it, you're either a hater or you need to learn to appreciate Cascades and Centennials. And if you like it, you're either a fanboy or have an evolved, complex palate.
    Wonder which one I'll be...

Didn't any of you listen to me when I posted way back when that the hops had already faded?Should have saved your money for darkness day.

Lets all get together and plant a bunch of citra hops next year In hopes that we have enough so todd doesn't have to look out of state for his his fresh hops. Problem solved

I agree with most here. Opened my 1st Wet and it just does not compare to years past. I don't fault Surly for trying something new with Wet, just hope they return to the recipe that made it one of my fav's or continue the journey with trying another hop variety next year. I just know now that I would pass on this style of Wet in the future if it is made again. Perhaps release Wet again in May using Nelson? One can dream!

After my second 4-pack I like but am not in love. Will no doubt buy another just because it is still fresh and better than most of the beer around. That being said how many weeks until Abrasive? Here is to hoping it will NOT be in limited form as Fest and Wet are.

My thoughts exactly. This tastes like Surly Hell if anything. Really disappointed.

I liked it. It's not blow your socks off great, but it's definitely good. Way better than Saga IMO.

I thought it tasted nothing like Hell. I hate that beer.
