I'd rather spend the $35 on beer, but if somebody gave one to me I'd definitely put it to use. Pretty sleek, too.

I'm sure it looks all grand until the first sip when the beer from each chamber leaks into the other and they blend together (gravity's a bitch). Not sure what effect that'd have on the taste thereafter, but I think pretentious is the right word for that glass.

Not saying I wouldn't give it a go, though.

Good point. I bet it comes with instructions on how to tilt it in the precise way (angle/speed ratio) so as to avoid any dreaded cross-contamination. Now that's pretentious!

I'm still drawn to the idea, though (...he said with a hint of self-loathing...)

It would only be pretentious if you were mixing Fat Tire and Magic Hat #9.

I think it looks cool too, so you aren't alone. I'll stand with ya on it lol!

Now angles to prevent cross contamination... Ability to maintain a precise angle is inversely proportional to volume consumed!

I thought this thread was going to be about the Three Floyds Teku.

Agreed. I've bought Riedel Sommelier wine glasses in the past and after breaking one you realize you'd have rather bought a good bottle of wine for the price.

These mixers are kinda cool though if your into beer mixing

Ah, the classic, "you're holding it wrong", Apple argument... Classic.

Had my local growler station blended ST Choklat and Founders Cerise in one growler.
No muss no fuss and quite an interesting tasty treat . All for the cost of beer alone !
Glass does look interesting I must say

Whether or not I used it for the designed purpose, I would get one simply because I'm a glass ***** and it looks awesome!

Would be fun to experiment with though!

The guy that makes those is an hour from me. I've never cared for the layered glass, but I've seriously contemplated getting the mustache glass.

I heard if you mix Magic Hat #9 and West Sixth IPA, the glass will explode.

I got the whole set for a Christmas from my wife, very nice and well made. Not at all fragile but it is a little nerve wracking using such expensive glassware!
