Really sucks!! I got my order in at 12:02 and was sold out already. Guess I'm missing out this year. :slight_frown: Ugh!

Dammit, oh well no work trip for me this year. My boss missed out (he has a cabin near there). Guess I'll be going to Beer Geek Xmas in town then (Maybe head back to that liquor store I found here in Mesa yesterday near my fam's that has piles of Eclipse still and pretend I'm there).

Their FB post mentioned 1 min, 37 secs. Good god...

That doesn't seem that absurd. I believe they only sold 100 tickets at two per person. That's only fifty people.. Surprised they lasted that long to be honest.

My confirmation said I got them at 01:52. But they didn't seem to go on sale right at 00:00, so that could be right.

Yep!! I'm pretty quick on the trigger. This isn't my first time! I've got a firm hand on the situation.

Always ISO friends, hoping to make some there!

From experience...It is very close(maybe 1/10th of a mile). Hotel is also quiet and clean.

And don't forget all 100 did not go on sale last night. Theyre holding back a few for sale at the brewery this weekend.
Glad to be there, 3rd year. Someone has to keep you youngsters in line.

Just booked at the Larkspur, I'll see you all in December! As a relatively recent California transplant and apparently one of the lucky few last night, I'm excited for my first Eclipse release party

Did somebody say epic bottle share...?

Man, you can't beat it. Consume lots of great fermented goodness then just walk a few steps thru the 20f mountain air to your room and pass out. What a country! And yes, bottle sharing seems to grow each year.

Sweet, so I had no chance to get a ticket at all anyways... I've been wanting to go to this for 3 years!!

So what is the bottle share routine at this event? Just outside or do they let you bring them in like DLD or some such? I'm driving up from SF that morning, so this might give some incentive to meet up a couple hours before 5pm. :sunglasses:

Yes, they allow you to bring bottles into the event. I'm sure other folks have other side shares going on, various times and locations, perhaps at their hotels. I'm only aware of what went on at 5050

no need to start before 5 pm, they let you bottleshare inside. seven hours of unlimited eclipse variants and bottles being shared at high altitude is really a task in itself. best beer release party I've ever been to, can't wait until December!

drinking before the event is completely unnecessary. the share at the brewery is redonk.
