Great time was had by all! See ya in Sept!! Thanks to Flesk, 18th st, Spiteful and Chaos for stopping by and/or donating beer to the event for all to try....And as always thanks to Aaron for opening up his place for us all to enjoy! Uber is the greatest invention of last year.

Sorry I missed it (especially sorry after seeing that empties shot) and looking forward to the next one.

As most who were there know, my friend Ruth made a bold attempt to keep a running ledger of each beer we tried. Since so many were assiduous in seeing that she got a chance to write everything down, I though it was only fair that I post the resultant list on line. A few caveats: These are only beers that one or (as a rule) both of us tried, and even then it's not a complete list, as I believe a there were a couple at the end of the night that weren't recorded. There were, of course others opened that we didn't have. There were more vintage bottles than I made note of here - as a rule, we didn't record the years. I didn't include duplicates in the list. Finally, I'm not 100% sure of all of these (my tasting memory gave out around #75 or so, and, although Ruth was more judicious, even our collective memories of the bottles aren't great). Thus, a few of these may be misremembered.

my body pretty much gave out around pour number 40 or so. i can't even comprehend how two people together could taste that many beers.

Yes, it is a lot of beer; however, Dan and I were sharing pours. If you think of it that way, even if you were drinking 2oz. pours x40 vs. our 1oz. each it is a little more understandable. That being said, it was a long and rough night for us and it was a long recovery the next morning. Looking forward to next time! Dan and I are already thinking of beers to bring.

Shall there be a Sept. gathering? If not...then perhaps Oct. when all the Fall brews are out in full force? Or even chilly Nov.?

we are a powerful collective force, we can find a venue right? someone on here has to have access to an after hours warehouse or something, or hell I'd chip in 20 bucks to collectively rent out a banquet room or something.

in for $20, preferably a location near public transportation. And near a new-york style pizza place.
