Agreed. My first experience with Sucks I almost couldn't stand. 4 beers in (about 4 days late) I wanted nothing else.

Resin, Hoptimum, and I'll definitely agree with he aforementioned Ruinten

I think Stone Ruination is more bitter than Ruinten. Ruinten had a nthe bitterness balanced out by some booziness and a little fruitiness for me (how I miss that beer).

If we're talking about bitter, then for me it would be Stone Ruination as well as SN Hoptimum (with Torpedo close behind).

Fresh 120 minute is pretty intense...120 IBU plus 18% ABV... it will mess up you palette AND your mind! I have only had it fresh, although I would love to drink one with about a decade on it!

I must be some sort of psycho. Hopsickle was one of the first 3 IPAs I had and I loved it. I really haven't found a beer that was terribly bitter to the point of being too much. That said, different hop profiles and such turn me off, like the utterly gross Devil Dancer. The beer with the hoppiest taste I've had is either Heady or Abner. That's why I love them so much. They're both over 100 IBUs so there's that too.

Hop-15 is in the vicinity of 192 IBUs.

    Maybe Hopsickle, maybe Mongo.

The most uncomfortable bitter bomb was a Foothills in house Papa Jade, pure bitter, and nothing more. No way I could drink this one, evil stuff.

This. You and eye see fisheye to eye. Hops does not = bitters and bitters do not = hops. Been saying that since day one.

Rogue Yellow snow was more bitter than pallet wrecker. I also had thirsty dog citra dog recently, which was not a late hop citra ipa like I expected. It was all early bitter hopping with citra and it put my tongue in a vice. I think it was more about bitter malts than the hops though. I'm unsure how I feel about that one yet, but it was bitter is all I can say. Rogue yellow snow brought tears to my eyes the first time I tried it.

Its funny how many of these beers I've had that I find sweet for an IPA/DIPA.

Yep, sorry but pallet wrecker was too sticky sweet for me. I will drink it from time to time, but put it in a class with gubna, which is less sticky sweet than pallet wrecker.

I've never had it but beers like Hoptimum, Maharaja, and Resin are hoppy but aren't very bitter for the style IMO.

Palate Wrecker is all hop bitterness, I actually get very little hop flavors from it.

I must be getting the same Palate Wrecker as you; it never even came close to wrecking my palate. Probably a lost opportunity on my end. Anyway, for me Green Flash Imperial>>>Palate Wrecker.
