On lawson's blog, he said that he was delivering this beer to his locations this week, but that the beer is "Revised, rev'd up & ready to go!"

Anybody get some of this at the Warren Store yesterday? Is this batch better than the last? When I had it last year I found it to be pretty forgettable.

Hoping that it's gonna be more of a hoppy red ale, like MBC Zoe.

I got some at Warren and had some on draft at Lost Nation. I didnt have the last batch but I think this is pretty damn good. Its no double sunshine, but nice and hoppy.

This was okay. Better value for $7.99 bomber, but very entertaining to watch tourists camped out at the co-op today for bottles. Way better value sat on the shelves in the form of Flipside Sixer's. Its all of your faults that Maple Wheat ends up costing over 8 bucks a bottle.

I happened into Hunger Mountain right when it was being stocked today and picked one up. When I got home and saw the reviews, I was ready for something relatively boring, but I thought it was a pretty damn fine red ale. It has a nice juicy hoppiness that isn't overwhelming or unbalanced for a red. Can't speak to how it compares to the older version.

Typo? I've never seen Lost Nation have anything other than their own on tap. Haven't been there in a week or two tho; but would make sense since they have so many taps built in.

Definitely on draft at Lost Nation, but guest beers are brand new there. We visited on Friday and they said they'd just started running guest beers. They had a cider, a Belgian gueze, and the Lawson's red (which is very delicious).

Interesting... Thanks for the info. I usually go every weekend... giving me more reason to not miss my weekly trip!

People don't seem to understand how small his operation is. There are limitations to literally everything. Cut the guy some slack!

They also had zwet.be on tap. It was only my second time there, and the first time was back in July and there were no guest drafts. This time there were, and the bartender mentioned that tap list may grow.

They had it on tap as of last night at Blackback. My wife seemed to enjoy it very much. Solid beer but not out of this world in my opinion

It's pretty sad when people are willing to drain the local, limited supply of beer when there's plenty of good beer in their own backyards.

They made the trip up here and spent hundreds of dollars at our local restaurants, bars and hotels. I'm not upset about it, beer tourism helps keep my employer profitable. They can have all the bottles they want, and make the lines at HF as long as they want.

Also, it's kind of a point of pride that our beer is better than theirs

I spent my honeymoon in Vermont this past week. It was absolutely glorious. I love your state and can't wait to come back :-)
